How can I cancel the transaction?

Unfortunately, the transfer cannot be cancelled after it has been confirmed on the NEAR blockchain. The trustless bridge architecture does not allow for cancelling the transaction that has been initiated. Neither can a transaction be reverted or merged with another transaction.

The most common reason for cancellation is high gas fees. Note that fees depend on the congestion of the Ethereum network. You can wait for lower gas fees and finalize the transfer at any time. Funds are never lost. You may want to use special software to track ETH gas fees 24/7.

There is no bridge fee, only ETH gas fee.
